                Sept. 9, 2016

Kenneth Cobonpue designed a children’s playground on the 758-meter viewing deck atop the 3rd largest shopping mall in the Philippines and believed to be the 8th in the world in terms of gross leasable area. Inspiration for the playground was drawn from Cobonpue’s affinity for art forms in nature, integrating this with the idea of creativity and dreams during childhood. Altogether, the design brought to life the colorful world of children’s imaginations— from dinosaurs to outer space—nurturing a child’s creative thoughts through the simple joys of outdoor play.
